The Lost Boys was a six-issue limited series published by Vertigo, an imprint of DC Comics, from October 12, 2016 to March 8, 2017. The series adapts the popular Lost Boys film franchise featuring the Frog Brothers, Edgar and Alan, and is a sequel to the 1987 film of the same title.

Issue #1[]
Santa Carla, California is on edge. The eccentric coastal town and haven for the undead was finally returning to "normal" after its last supernatural scuffle left the local coven's head vampire dead and gave newcomers Michael and Sam Emerson a housewarming both violent and bizarre. Now the brothers must once again team up with militant vampire hunters Edgar and Allan Frog when a new gang of ruthless, stunning, life-sucking night-crawlers known as the Blood Belles emerges from the aftermath to collect Michael’s love interest and their lost sister, Star.

The Frog Brothers have a beef with the new vampires in town, and now they're on an unholy mission to show the Blood Belles that they picked the wrong turf to try to set up shop. Will these teenage boys be any match for the deadliest undead ladies to ever terrorize Santa Carla? We think you know the answer to that, Death Breath!

It's getting to be so a guy can't go out on a Friday night in Santa Carla without somebody trying to sink their teeth into his neck! The Blood Belles are wreaking havoc across town. The Frog Brothers are missing, Star has run away, and Sam and Michael are one step ahead of having their blood drained. Only the mysterious vamp hunter known as the Believer can help them now!

Star has rejoined the vampires, the Frog Brothers are M.I.A. and David's kidnapped Michael to appease the Blood Belles. It looks like it's up to Sam and the mysterious musical muscleman known as the Believer to save the day. Those dirty bloodsuckers better get ready for some sweet tunes!
Issue #5[]
The Blood Belles reveal their true reason for coming to Santa Carla: unleashing a vampire threat unlike anything the world has ever seen. If you thought lost boys were bad, wait until these girls get their way.
Issue #6[]
Things have gone from bad to worse as the true plot of the Blood Belles has been revealed. Stakes are high, but they'll need to be brought low if Sam, Michael and the Frog Brothers want to get out of this predicament.
